2.4 Job Board Applications

Our Job Board displays open positions. If you inquire through our Contact form, the information collected is as described in Section 2.1.

2.5 Account Credentials

If you create an account for the Partner Portal, we store your email address and an encrypted password through our authentication provider. We never have access to your plaintext password.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries: To reply to your Contact form submissions and communicate about our services.
  • Expert Network management: To match your skills and availability with relevant project opportunities and facilitate project-based engagements.
  • Employment: To evaluate your interest in open positions and facilitate hiring processes.
  • Service delivery: To provide the consulting, development, and advisory services you engage us for.
  • Business communications: To send you relevant project opportunities or operational updates if you have opted in to notifications through the Partner Portal.

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose unrelated to the services you have requested or the relationship you have established with us.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud-hosted infrastructure platform that provides database, authentication, and file storage services. Supabase uses PostgreSQL databases and stores data in secure, SOC 2 Type II–compliant data centers.

We implement the following security measures:

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL) for all communications between your browser and our servers
  • Encrypted password storage using industry-standard hashing algorithms (bcrypt)
  • Row-level security policies on database tables to restrict data access
  • Secure, access-controlled cloud storage for uploaded documents
  • Role-based access controls limiting internal data access to authorized personnel only

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use Supabase for data hosting and authentication. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change by updating this Privacy Policy.

6. No Tracking, Cookies, or Advertising

Our website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks, or any other automated data collection technologies. We do not engage in behavioral tracking, cross-site tracking, targeted advertising, or data brokering of any kind.

Because we do not track you, we do not respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals—not because we ignore them, but because there is no tracking to disable. Similarly, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals by default, as we do not engage in any activity that GPC is designed to prevent (sale or sharing of personal information for advertising).

7. Your Rights

Regardless of your state of residence, we extend the following rights to all users:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information. Partner Portal users may also delete their uploaded documents directly.
  • Portability: You may request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Opt-out of communications: Partner Portal users may adjust notification preferences at any time through the portal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tmp-software.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 calendar days. If we need additional time (up to 45 more days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

8. State-Specific Privacy Rights

8.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by the CCPA. There is no need to opt out because this activity does not occur.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: We only use sensitive personal information (if any) for the purposes for which it was collected.

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 of this policy, exclusively from you directly. We have not sold, shared for cross-context behavioral advertising, or disclosed personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

8.2 Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Other State Privacy Laws

If you reside in a state with a comprehensive privacy law (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and others), you generally have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of data, and profiling. As stated throughout this policy, we do not engage in any of these activities.

If you wish to exercise your rights or have a concern about our data practices, please contact us. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us again at hello@tmp-software.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your state's attorney general.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact form submissions: Retained until the inquiry is resolved, or until you request deletion.
  • Expert Network data: Retained for the duration of your participation in the network, and deleted upon request or account closure.
  • Uploaded documents: Retained until you delete them through the Portal or request their deletion.
  • Account credentials: Retained until you request account deletion.

We may retain certain information as required by law (e.g., for tax, legal, or regulatory purposes) even after you request deletion. Any such retained data will be limited to what is legally required and will not be used for other purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or business operations. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
